How will standardisation affect your energy business in 2026 and beyond?

As the EU moves rapidly toward climate and energy targets, most of its building stock still fails to meet energy efficiency and decarbonisation goals. The future lies in sector coupling — connecting the electricity grid with intelligent building systems and electrified heating and cooling solutions. But without coordinated standardisation, these future risks are becoming too fragmented, inefficient, or costly to scale.

This exclusive online webinar — held as a pre-event to the EU Regional Digital Energy Summit 2025 — will bring together insights from technical, regulatory, and industry leaders shaping the European digital energy landscape.

 Why Attend?

  • Find out how standardisation will influence your investment decisions, product strategies, and market access
  • Learn how BACS (Building Automation & Control Systems) and technologies like heat pumps and chillers will be critical enablers of grid-connected energy savings
  • Understand the role of DSOs and digital control in turning buildings into active energy players
  • Get early insights into HLF WG9’s work on EU-wide standardisation — and what it means for your organisation
  • Discover how strategic standardisation is becoming a critical enabler — not only for EU policy goals, but also for business scalability, value creation, and energy system efficiency

Secure your spot today and be part of the shift toward a connected, efficient, and standardised energy system.

Featured Speakers

prof. dr. Marko Topič
Yann Fromont, Deputy President, T&D Europe

Yann has a comprehensive understanding of worldwide electrical markets, from low-voltage to medium-voltage applications, which he has developed over his 30 years in the industry. He has held positions in the areas of commercial, marketing, production, factory management, M&A, strategy and currently in industrial affairs & standardization within Schneider Electric .
